The Pacific Rim is assuming a pivotal role in military infrastructure, facility operation planning and construction.

Reports identify the Pacific Rim as receiving a growing portion of military expenditures, with some of the largest and most important projects occuring in the region. Meet the military and civilian leaders who are responsible for planning and executing billion dollar infrastructure and facility improvement projects throughout the Pacific Rim.

About the Conference

SAME Honolulu is hosting the Century of the Pacific conference, exhibition and golf tournament. This is the Pacific’s premier military engineering conference bringing together government leaders, military engineers and their engineering partners.

Subject matter experts will brief on:

• Pacific rim infrastructure plans, and budgets
• Energy efficiency
• Construction challenges
• Education and training on LEED and Design Build
  

Pacific rim locations featured include: Hawaii, Guam, Japan, Korea, Northwest items of interest, and Alaska.

In conjunction with the conference, the SAME Honolulu post will have its fund raiser, the SAME Honolulu Post Golf Tournament on February 24, 2009.
